My research and teaching are animated by one question: how do human beings learn most naturally, and what conditions help them flourish?
My PhD work explores attention, physiology, engagement, neuroscience, and learning. At its core, I am interested in how high-performing learning states can be identified, understood, and transferred in ways that help people learn more effectively.

Teaching is not only the transfer of information. It is the practice of meeting students where they are, helping them build confidence, and creating conditions where understanding can emerge.
This same question also moves beyond the classroom and the laboratory. It asks how education, design, movement, technology, and even clothing might work with human nature rather than against it.
